-PR- Stubborn Chickens

Red Sea wandered around the woods outside the city of Skyhaven with his adoptive brother Azov in tote with simple orders from their father: Find something to bring back. Red Sea was hard at work while Azov was timidly following behind his brother.
“Are you sure this is a good idea?!” Azov whined, getting a scoff from his brother.
“Don’t be silly my brother…” Red growled, turning to face the timid Chimera.
“We will get praise from Father! Think about that!” Red’s scowl turned to a grin and Azov frowned. He sighed and shook his head.
“Okay...whatever you say brother.” Azov muttered, continuing to follow his brother around till a shrill sound broke through the silence.
“H-HELP ME!” The voice yelledin panic. The two Pokemon looked up from where they were and ran over in the direction of the voice, Azov actually looking worried and Red looking pretty annoyed. They stopped and saw a near featherless Pidgey running from it’s life from a pack of Persian. The big cat Pokemon licked their jaws as they finally surrounded the flightless mon. The leader of the pack lunged forward, claws outstretched and jaws open wide.
“NO!” Azov screamed. As he did, a dark red shape came into the Persian’s view and slammed upwards right into it’s jaw. The powerful Slash sent the Persian sprawling back in panic. The three other Persian let out a hiss and their ears pinned back against their heads. Red huffed and fire spat out from his beak.
“Back off.” he hissed, his eyes narrowing at the Persian troupe. He huffed a flamethrower at their faces, making the Persian yowl in panic and run away. Azov ran down from his spot to check on the Pidgey.
“A-Are you alright?!” Azov asked in concern. The Pidgey was silent, looking between Red and Azov with big, fearful eyes before he finally nodded.
“Y-Yeah..I’m fine...that was super scary.” The pidgey whimpered. Red’s eyes glared down at the pidgey and he huffed again.
“Instead of being a weak, pathetic thing without your feathers. You should figure out how to defend yourself.” The Fletchmander growled. The Pidgey’s eyes widened in response, taking a step back before shrinking down.
“I-I….I understand.” The Pidgey muttered and nodded. Azov’s eyes widened at his brother’s words. He wanted to say something, call his brother a mean name for saying such a low thing to the bird Pokemon, but his brother was right.
“If you come to live with us. My father will show you how to be powerful.” Red’s voice suddenly raised over the silence. He turned to face the smaller bird Pokemon and his beak showed a big grin.
“Me and many other Pokemon are the result of my father’s work. He trains us all very well. I have no doubt in my mind you could go from a sniveling mess to a powerful asset with my father’s guidance. Azov swallowed nervously, watching his brother. Was he REALLY going to try this? To convince the Pidgey with promises of new power?
